Guideline for Rural Gravity Fed Piped Water Supply Tariff

Abstract

This Guideline provides a framework for the development and application of efficient tariff structures for Rural Gravity Flow Piped Water Schemes (RGFPWS) to achieve sustainable safe drinking water supplies in rural areas. This is to encourage the consumers to be actively engaged in the process of selecting, financing and operating systems that meet their needs and their willingness to pay for adequate and equiable services.
