User Guie Manual on Monitoring and Evaluation Database for Water Points

Abstract

This manual has been developed to support the M&E component related to the operation and maintenance (O&M) for water points at district level which is harmonised and complied with a National Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework developed through M&E Technical Working Group(TWG) in beginning of 2014. The contents of the manual include materials regarding the M&E data collection system, and WASH M&E indicators, including the additional ones related to the O&M for water points such as CBM training, Area Mechanics and spare parts supply chains, and M&E data templates, definitions of the these indicators, as well as guidelines on how to; Use the WASH M&E database including the additional indicators related to O&M for water points, Use the basic Excel and Pivot table skills for data analysis and advanced WASH M&E database, Prepare the hands on WASH database training.
