Abstract

This volume is to guide the formulation of a plan on operation and maintenance (O&M) of rural water supply in Malawi. The volume mainly covers six elements to make the O&M of Malawi more practical, planning methods based on understanding of these six elements, strategies and tools for evaluating progress on the plan, useful appendices for formulating a specific plan.
