In order to improve management of piped water supply systems in the market centres and rural areas, the government has adopted the concept of Water Users Association (WUA). These guidelines have been developed to assist various stakeholders for establishment of WUA. WUAs are expected to work as "mini water boards" to manage piped water supply systems and to meet operation adn maintenance costs in full with some savings for replacement and expansion. |
